On The Bold and the Beautiful, Carter Walton's (Lawrence Saint-Victor) love life has been a rollercoaster the past few years. He was excited to marry Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), but she became attracted to Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon De Metz). Carter had a passionate affair with Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) when she was married to Eric Forrester (John McCook). Then, he became engaged to Paris Buckingham (Diamond White), but Quinn interrupted the wedding and confessed her love to Carter. Ultimately, he and Quinn parted ways. Now he is engaged to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). But now that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) wants her back, will that leave Carter out in the cold again?
What happened Friday on The Bold and the Beautiful
Now that Liam realizes his brain tumor was fake and he isn't dying after all, he feels like he has a whole new lease on life. He told Hope he loves her and wants to get back together with her. He wants to be a family with her and Beth (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) again. He's counting on Carter to understand, gracefully accept defeat, and allow his fiancée Hope to simply remove her engagement ring like it's no big deal. Hope was overwhelmed and wasn't sure how to respond to Liam's shocking confession.
What if she realizes she still loves Liam and wants him back? Will Carter once again be left hanging out to dry?
Does Carter truly love Hope?
Carter has been involved with numerous women over the years on The Bold and the Beautiful, but he has never been married. Will it ever actually happen for him? Is there a mysterious reason why the writers have kept him single? We know he wants a family, since he mentions it from time to time. After all his break-ups and broken engagements, we have to wonder: does he even love Hope, for real? Or is he just desperate to marry and build a life with any woman who will give him the time of day?
It makes no sense that a kind, intelligent, successful, and handsome man like Carter, who wants to get married so badly, has never actually gotten married. He's come close many times, but something always manages to derail his plans. Were all those girlfriends and fiancées just wrong for him, or is he destined to remain a bachelor?
