Brief Character History

Andre Richardson was born to parents Stan and Ira Richardson, who perished in a plane crash in 2015. The young Andre was taken in by his uncle, Ted Richardson, and his aunt, Nicole Dupree, and he also shared the home with his cousins, Martin Richardson and Katherine “Kat” Richardson. Despite having received generous inheritances from both his mother and father, Andre decided to pursue a career in photography; he liked to stay on the move working in faraway and exotic locales but didn't like to be photographed himself, nor have images of him posted on social media.

Andre came home to Washington D.C. to shoot a video bio of psychiatrist Nicole, who had won a prestigious award; he immediately visited Ashley Morgan, a nurse whom Andre considered “the one that got away.” The freewheeling Andre hooked up with Dani Dupree, the mother of one of his clients, who was struggling to get over a painful divorce; Andre boosted Dani's ego, but Dani wasn't ready to date.
