Christie Clark recalls tearjerker scene, comments on her DAYS status

Christie Clark (Carrie Brady) waxes nostalgic about Days of our Lives and shares how a major personal event could impact her future at the NBC soap opera.

Days of our Lives gave longtime viewers a beautiful blast from the past with the return of Christie Clark's Carrie Brady in February of this year. But since bailing her parents Anna and Roman out of jail, she sadly hasn't been seen in Salem since. Despite her on-screen absence, fans continue to share memories about Carrie on social media -- and it's something Clark definitely notices and appreciates.

A DAYS viewer recently shared a classic scene from the mid-80s that shows a very young Carrie rushing to Marlena's (Deidre Hall) side as she emerges from a coma. The tearjerker moment includes the line, "I didn't want you to worry when you got well, so I took care of my dad for you."

After seeing the post on Twitter, Clark shared some memories of filming the sweet family scene.

"Loved filming this scene when I was little," she wrote. "Very scared that I wouldn't be able to cry. But, the writing was good and it just happened easily in the moment and I was hooked. Love a good tearjerker!"

Speaking of tearjerkers, many fans of the actress are brokenhearted to hear that she is moving to the United Kingdom this month. The news is, of course, exciting for her and her family, but it means she likely won't be doing any return stints to DAYS in the foreseeable future. Or will she?

When a fan commented that the actress' move to London means there will be no more Carrie appearances in the future, she responded with: "No, I will always need a little escape from reality. Happy to come film little stints on DAYS as long as they will have me."

And if she doesn't make it all the way back across the pond to Los Angeles? Clark could always show up on British soap operas like Coronation Street and Eastenders!
