Here is your Days of our Lives spoilers sneak peek video for the week of June 9th to 13th, 2025.
What to expect on Days of our Lives

There won't be a dry eye in the house this week in Salem or our living rooms when John Black (the late Drake Hogestyn) is laid to rest.
Old friends and loved ones return to remember a legend. John was a man who arrived in Salem nearly forty years ago, wrapped in bandages, not knowing who he was. He chose a name he found on a war plaque and became John Black. Eventually, Marlena (Deidre Hall) discovered that he was really Roman Brady and had all of Roman's memories, so Marlena believed she had her presumed-dead husband back.
For several years, John lived as Roman, raising Carrie (Christie Clark), Sami (Alison Sweeney), and Eric (Greg Vaughan), until the real Roman returned and he resumed calling himself John Black. Carrie and Eric are at John's memorial, remembering the kind of father he was to them.
Memories everywhere

Both John and the late Drake Hogestyn were avid baseball fans, with Hogestyn playing minor league professional baseball before he became an actor. John's son, Paul Narita (Christopher Sean), was also a professional baseball player, so he remembers his dad's love for the game during his eulogy with John's baseball memorabilia on display.
Young Rachel (Alice Halsey) also remembers her grandfather and the many baseball stories he would tell. We'll see photos, laugh with flashbacks, cry with speeches, and relive the life of a legend on-screen and off.
Marlena has to learn how to go on without her beloved husband, a man who has been by her side for decades and with whom she raised two children. Belle (Martha Madison) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) tell stories about their dad, as Belle reminds everyone just how funny John was.
In the end, both Hogestyn and John would tell people to keep swinging for the fences, meaning keep aiming high and hitting those home runs in life. John Black and Drake Hogestyn did just that, and they will both remain in soap fans' hearts forever. RIP John Black and the incredible actor who played him for so long.
