Days of our Lives' beloved supercouple, Bo and Hope Brady, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Friday, but we can't say 40 years of wedded bliss. Bo was still lingering in a coma, and it's been anything but bliss for this pair, as they are on a soap after all.

A Days of our Lives quiz

To honor the momentous occasion, Days of our Lives shared a video of Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso answering questions about their alter-egos, Newlywed Game-style.

Reckell and Alfonso began playing Bo and Hope way back in 1983, so they should know them like the back of their hands. However, in the Instagram video below, you can see that they can also bicker like long-time marrieds, but it's all in good fun.

When Bo and Hope bicker, Alfonso feels that Bo is more likely to give Hope the silent treatment, but Reckell thinks the same of Hope. However, they both agree that Hope is the one who gives more thoughtful gifts, as well as takes their secrets to the grave. It turns out Hope would also be the one to order takeout when there are no leftovers in the fridge.

Reckell thinks that Bo is more likely to get a speeding ticket and give all his money to charity, while Alfonso feels that it would be Hope. Both adamantly agree that Bo would be the one to write romantic poetry for the other.

Bo and Hope may be as in love as they were when they first married in 1985, but they have been through a lot since then, including returns from the dead and subsequent marriages and weddings, to one another and others. They also endured the loss of a child, something no couple should ever have to face.

A decade ago, Hope thought she'd lost Bo forever when he died in her arms from a brain tumor in the spot where they shared their very first kiss. Two years ago, she learned that his crazed high school sweetheart, Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson), had Bo cryogenically frozen and had recently defrosted him like a common Han Solo. Unfortunately, their reunion was short-lived when their son, Shawn (Brandon Beemer), accidentally shot his dad, thinking he was rescuing his mom.

Now, Bo has just received an experimental drug, as Hope, Shawn, and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) pray for him to pull through.
