It's a big week on Days of our Lives as some familiar faces return to our Salem screens, as well as one new face in an old (but young) role.
Arianna Horton is all grown up

First up this week is Arianna Horton, a legacy character who has grown up way too fast. We already got a hint about Arianna's case of SORAS last week when Gabi was on the phone with her daughter and mentioned Ari's high school graduation. That means the character who was born in 2013 aged a little quicker than real-life kids, but is right on track for a soap kid.
Ariana is the daughter of Gabi Hernandez (then played by Camila Banus, now Cherie Jimenez) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey), conceived during a one-night stand before Will faced his sexuality and eventually married Sonny Kiriakis (then played by Freddie Smith). Sonny and Will had been raising Ariana together in Arizona for the last few years.
Played by Marisa Reyes, Ariana is set to cause some trouble for her mother — and for Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis). Expect to see her involved with Doug III (Peyton Meyer), which will help add another layer to Doug's grandson, someone we still don't know much about.
We can also expect to see Chandler Massey back as Will in the coming months before a fall full of returns to celebrate Days of our Lives' 60th anniversary in November.
The Days of our Lives comebacks we've been waiting for

Then, on Friday, the big day arrives. It's Bo and Hope's 40th wedding anniversary, but Bo is still lingering in a coma and near death's door. We will see Peter Reckell on-screen for the first time in two years. Kristian Alfonso and Victoria Konefal, both of whom appeared as Hope and Ciara Brady in December for Doug Williams' (Bill Hayes) funeral, will be joining him.
Expect to see lots of flashbacks as Hope remembers her life with Bo. Ciara will pray by her father's side as the doctors give up hope (so to speak) and advise giving Bo last rites. It's up to a team in Salem to obtain the cure for sepsis and get it to Bo on time.
