Days of our Lives Spoilers, June 26: A good time turns very bad for Xander and Sarah

Here are your Days of our Lives spoilers for Thursday, June 26, 2025.

What to expect on Days of our Lives

Both Xander (Paul Telfer) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) were shocked when their respective lawyers gave them some very bad news. Melinda (Tina Huang) had to inform Xander that no judge would grant him full custody of Victoria, and Justin (Wally Kurth) told Sarah the same for her side. Both attorneys agreed that shared custody would be the best bet.

When Xander runs into Sarah and Victoria at the Brady Pub, they appear to have a good time. Xander gets to see his daughter and play with her a bit, which reminds Sarah of old times.

However, things get ugly when they take it outside to Horton Town Square. That's when Sarah and Xander get nasty with one another, with each one making threats. They declare war on each other, vowing that neither one of them will ever have custody of Victoria. Can Sarah get Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) to crack and admit what Xander did to him, or will Xander try to dig up dirt on Sarah, which he may never find?

The truth is out

Kate (Lauren Koslow) is surprised when she finds Roman (Josh Taylor) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) alone together with Johnny (Carson Boatman) and wonders what is going on between her husband, his ex, and their grandson, whom she also considers to be her grandson.

Roman and Kate have both been convinced that Johnny was the one who shot EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) that fateful night, but now Roman knows the truth and informs Kate that they were wrong. Yes, Johnny took the gun from the lockbox behind the bar with the intention of shooting his father, but he never actually pulled the trigger. Someone else did and left the gun outside the front door in the planter.

Roman believes his grandson, but he also knows he needs to find the real culprit before poor Johnny ends up in more trouble than he bargained for. Will Roman and Kate come up with a plan to help Johnny before it's too late and all the evidence points Jada (Elia Cantu) in the completely wrong direction?
