Days of our Lives Spoilers, May 22: Doug III and Arianna's fascinating encounter

What to expect on Days of our Lives

Once again, Doug III (Peyton Meyer) is in some sort of trouble, so Holly (Ashley Puzemis) is there to help him. They talk things through at The Brady Pub, where she promises to be there for him as she always is. However, Doug gets some help of another kind later.

Arianna Horton (Marissa Reyes) is back in Salem to visit with her mother, but that doesn't mean she doesn't want to have a little bit of fun. She may only be 18, but she heads over to Small Bar to see what the scene is like. That's where she runs into Doug III and strikes up a conversation.

Somehow, that conversation leads to so much more as they end up in bed together at the Hernandez house. Do Doug and Arianna know one another from their past, or is this a quick one-night stand?

It appears that Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) will walk in on her daughter in bed with Doug, which will tell her that her daughter is not quite as innocent as she has been led to believe. So much for a birthday celebration with Grandma Marlena (Deidre Hall).

Plan B for Bo

At least Marlena can rejoice that John (the late Drake Hogestyn) is home and safe — at least for now. Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) are still determined to get their hands on that Versavix and save Bo (Peter Reckell), but they are going to need a little help to complete the mission.

Do they turn to John, fresh off his own dangerous mission halfway around the world? It took months to find him, but John always wants to play hero because he is just that kind of guy.

John would want to get right back into the action, especially if it means saving Bo Brady's life, as there was a time John believed Bo was his brother when John thought he was Roman Brady (Josh Taylor). Will Steve and Shawn enlist John for another dangerous task so Hope can finally have her forever hero back among the living?
