Days of our Lives Spoilers, May 29: The hospital board vote goes a little awry

What to expect on Days of our Lives

It's time for the hospital board to choose a new owner, with Xander (Paul Telfer) and EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) being the two big titans (so to speak) in the running. Both want the Versavix patent, even if the drug has already been administered to Bo Brady (Peter Reckell). When the hospital board meets to vote, both Xander and EJ are on pins and needles, but something tells us that it is going to go EJ's way.

Belle does the right thing and tells Jada what she knows about the fight between Xander and Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), leaving Jada (Elia Cantu) with no choice. She arrests Xander in the middle of the hospital halls, shocking onlookers. Xander has pretty much confessed to the crime with some, but never explicitly said what he did. Perhaps Philip can put another nail in Xander's coffin when he wakes.

Even Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) are stunned when they see Xander hauled away in cuffs. Maggie explains to Julie about the forged letter and what Xander has done, which caused the eventual breakup of Xander and Sarah's marriage. It's all a big mess for Xander, but for Kristen and EJ, things seem to be looking up...maybe...

Kristen has an ask

When Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) finds herself at the hospital to have Rachel (Alice Halsey) checked out, she runs into Brady (Eric Martsolf) and has a big request of her ex. She was beside herself when she learned about John (the late Drake Hogestyn), a man she nearly married decades ago. Does she ask if she can see John before the inevitable happens?

Perhaps Kristen wants Brady to help her find her mother. Rachel Blake (Roslyn Gentle) has been missing for way too long, and there has to be a way to locate the crazy older woman.

Kristen could also want Brady to attend the board meeting and throw his weight behind EJ. With Xander ending up in cuffs, that decision could be very easy. However, Brady will be inclined to give Kristen a hard time with whatever it is that she asks for.
