Days of our Lives Spoilers, October 28: Sarah's rage boils over with Brady's big surprise

After hearing what happened with Xander (Paul Telfer) and Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), Brady (Eric Martsolf) decides to find a way to make Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) feel better. He comes up with the perfect idea and brings Sarah to an excellent place to let off steam — a rage room. All Sarah has to do is take a baseball bat and start smashing things, with goggles on for safety, of course.

Sarah gets to the task at hand and lets out her anger at Xander on inanimate objects, which is what Xander should have done, rather than attacking Philip. Does Sarah think of that as glass goes flying all over the place?

Sarah is exhausted when she is through, but she is grateful to Brady for introducing her to this concept. Sarah and Brady have been becoming quite close in recent months. Can their newfound friendship lead to something else? Or does Sarah still love Xander deep down inside? She claims she does not, but feelings don't shut off that easily, no matter how much we want them to.

Jennifer returns to the scene of the crime

Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) is back in her old stomping grounds when she returns to the Spectator office, the place where she started her journalism career and fell in love with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), her on-again/off-again husband for about 35 years now.

Jennifer is in reporter mode when she and Chad (Billy Flynn) have a long chat about his life, Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), and his goals for the newspaper she and Jack cherished for so long. Does Jennifer explain to Chad why she couldn't handle him dating Cat, but this time, do it without anger? Chad does understand, but it doesn't diminish his feelings for Cat. Perhaps he should not tell Jennifer that, or she might fly off the handle again.

But Jen is also there to pay tribute to her grandfather and write a story that will honor him properly. She also gives encouragement to Chad, but is this encouragement about his love life or his journalism career moves?
