Days of our Lives Spoilers, October 7: Brady's news absolutely stuns Sarah

After learning that Tate (Leo Howard) and Tesoro are not a DNA match, Brady (Eric Martsolf) is more confused than ever. Everything points to Tesoro being the baby that Sophia (Rachel Boyd) gave birth to, but since Tate was proven not to be Tesoro's father, Brady thinks his grandchild is still out there somewhere.

When Brady confides in Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) that he had Rafe (Galen Gering) get a DNA sample from Tesoro and he got one from Tate, but they were not a match, alarm bells go off in Sarah's head. She knows that Tesoro is indeed Sophia's baby, whom she left at the firehouse after giving birth via YouTube tutorial. But how could he not be a match for Tate?

Will Sarah be the one to figure out that Tate is not Tesoro's father and that Sophia has been lying the entire time? Sophia is an excellent liar and does it all the time. It's like an art for her now, as she once again manages to fool Tate while they are working. However, she is not going to be able to fool Sarah for long.

Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) are as confused as Brady. Why would someone try to sabotage their quest to adopt Tesoro, and how would someone claiming to be his birth mother know so much about Johnny? And how could Holly have sent Johnny a suggestive pic if she was in the hospital after a fire? Nothing makes sense.

Johnny and Chanel are determined to get to the bottom of things, as they now feel purposely targeted. Whoever did this is also trying to hurt Paulina (Jackee Harry) by saying she abused her power. The pair tries to come up with a plan to figure out who did this so they can redeem themselves with the social worker.

They are desperate to become parents, and Chanel still can't shake the feeling that Tesoro was always meant to be theirs. Imagine their surprise when they eventually realize why Chanel feels this way.
