Days of our Lives Spoilers, September 29: Another ominous warning for Marlena?

What to expect on Days of our Lives

With the lights out in Salem, Marlena (Deidre Hall) is all alone in her apartment after seemingly passing out on the couch. But never fear, Susan (Stacy Haiduk) is here. She arrives to check on Dr. Evans and finds that she needs a little help.

Marlena even finds herself opening up to Susan about all the strange things that have been happening around her and to her lately. She is alarmed when Susan still claims she can feel some sort of presence playing around with Marlena's life.

Does she still insist that Stefano is alive and well somewhere, or at least his spirit is where it shouldn't be? With Marlena constantly having Queen of the Night dreams, that is certainly possible. But perhaps Marlena is just living with a guilty conscience because she knows Kristen (also Stacy Haiduk) doesn't belong behind bars, but promised she'd never tell the truth — for Rachel's (Alice Halsey) sake, of course.

Perhaps Susan also senses there is more to the EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) shooting story than anyone is letting on, especially since the victim is her son.

Romance for Cat and Chad

With the lights out, Cat (AnnaLynn McCord) knows that Felicity (Kennedy Garcia) is taken care of and Chad (Billy Flynn) knows that his kids are taken care of, so Cat and Chad can now enjoy a romantic evening in her apartment, where they laugh a lot — and make out a lot.

Chad even seems to enjoy one of Cat's favorite snacks, Twizzlers with peanut butter. He feels this is an unusual treat, but he's willing to give it a try. Will all this togetherness have Chad and Cat take their relationship to the next level?

At the Horton house, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) is the babysitter on board when Thomas (Cary Christopher) has Rachel over to play during the blackout. Rachel even has some stunning news for Thomas, but will he tell Julie what is going on in Rachel's head?
