Sophia's (Rachel Boyd) dirty trick on Holly (Ashley Puzemis), which helped lead to Holly passing out in bed after drinking too much, could have deadly consequences. While tossing and turning in bed, Holly accidentally knocks over a burning candle into a trash can and causes a fire in the Salem University dorms.

When Tate (Leo Howard) realizes that he can't find Holly as the students evacuate, he panics, but will he be able to rescue her in time? Will Sophia realize that her immature actions are hurting everyone around her?

Love in the dark

While stuck in an elevator during the Salem blackout, EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) confesses his feelings for Belle (Martha Madison). He wonders why two people who were once in love can't just say civil words to one another. He also mentions that at least one of those two people is still in love with the other.

Belle looks at him curiously as we wonder if they are both still in love with each other. Are things about to get super steamy in that elevator?

Things didn't get super steamy with Chad (Billy Flynn) and Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) a few weeks ago in the elevator, but it looks like things are finally heating up in Cat's apartment. Chad and Cat are closer than ever and are tired of hiding their feelings for one another. That means one thing is about to lead to another as Felicity (Kennedy Garcia) still spends time with Chanel (Raven Bowens) during the blackout.

Stephanie's surprise

Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) is curious when Stephanie (Abigail Klein) seems to be hiding something from him. He tries to get it out of her and wants to know more about a cousin that she has mentioned. Stephanie clams up and does not want to talk about it. However, she may have no choice when someone from her past shows up at her door.

Is this the same man who was following Stephanie in Horton Town Square? Stephanie certainly has quite a past to write about.
