Cary Christopher’s Thomas was recently seen on Days of Our Lives playing catch with his dad, Chad (Billy Flynn), in July. There haven’t been any major stories for the young man lately, but that’s okay, because he’s been quite busy. In 2024, he appeared alongside Chris Pratt in a hilarious Pringles commercial. Aside from providing a voice in the upcoming animated feature Spider-Noir, co-starring Nicholas Cage, Christopher’s also got a TV show currently in pre-production called It’s Not Like That. And as if the young man wasn’t busy enough, he recently shared the premiere of an exciting new horror flick that he’s in called Weapons.
From Salem To Screams
Days of Our Lives’ Cary Christopher shared several posts on Instagram celebrating the premiere of Weapons. In July, he shared a teaser trailer for the film in which he’s featured prominently, captioning it, “See for yourself. #WeaponsMovie only in theaters August 8.” He would later post another truly terrifying teaser. It depicts what looks like Christopher trying to feed his father some chicken noodle soup, and then cuts to the father stabbing his own face with a fork and Christopher screaming for him to stop (are you scared yet?).
After that, he was attached to a post by movie poster designer Alt Fiction that had two posters from Weapons, with the caption, “‘What do you see that I don’t…’ After seeing the newest promo for Weapons, I just had to do another alt poster. Really intrigued by this one.” We challenge you to take a closer look at Christopher’s reflection in the window here. The ad campaign seemed to be working as several fans shared their excitement and enthusiasm at seeing the film.
He owned his moment

Then, at the end of July, the Days of Our Lives star posted a photo that had a poster from the film and a pic of Christopher, with a short comment from Dread Central that stated, “Cary Christopher, as Alex, is just phenomenal. His performance even moved me to tears during a quiet but powerful moment of reconciliation. And let’s face facts, it’s becoming increasingly rare for a horror film to tackle childhood trauma with such originality, effectiveness, and authenticity.”
The next post showed a pic of him and Weapons director Zach Cregger hugging at the premiere of the film that was held at The United Theater. He wrote, “What a special night. Being a part of this film and getting to work with such talented people has been such a dream come true. And seeing Weapons in a packed theater?!!? AN EXPERIENCE. The premiere was the first time I saw the movie, and wow, just wow. I don't even have the words to fully say how awesomely fun it was seeing it on the big screen. Zach, you are so talented, and thank you for trusting me as Alex Lilly.”
The young man had two more posts, with the second being chock-full of pics from the premiere. Former Days of Our Lives star, Julie Dove (Connie), lovingly commented, “You’re a superstar @carychristopherofficial.”
