Days of our Lives fans can look forward to the return of Kyle Lowder in the role of Rex Brady -- and possibly a whole lotta drama to come along with it!
Rex will be back on the canvas the week of March 8 to stir up trouble during Xander's (Paul Telfer) bachelor party. But fans probably shouldn't feel too bad for the groom, because official show teasers reveal that his shindig is just a two-man party, with Jack (Matthew Ashford) being his only guest. At least Rex's appearance might give the bachelor party some much-needed spice. After all, if there aren't a lot of pals, drunken shenanigans, and strippers, then a surprise appearance by the bride's ex-lover will have to do!
As DAYS fans may recall, Lowder was last seen on the soap in the spring of 2020, when Sarah, who was grieving the death of her baby, Mickey, kidnapped Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen's (Stacy Haiduk) daughter and fled to Paris. Sarah bumped into Rex in the City of Light and was seriously dismayed when he tried to convince her to return Rachel to her rightful parents -- so much so, she bashed Rex on the head, bound and gagged him, and then disappeared! Luckily, Kristen was able to put two and two together, leading her to save Rex and catch Sarah at a train station.
Rex's upcoming appearance just might lead to another bash on the head -- but this time, on Xander's! The two men have fought over Sarah before, so will the rivalry continue? Fans will have to keep tuning in to Days of our Lives to find out!
