This year's Outstanding Guest Performer nominees feature five first-time nominees. As you might expect, their reactions are really quite special.
This year's Outstanding Guest Performer nominees are from all four of the four soaps -- The Young and the Restless, Days of our Lives, The Bold and the Beautiful, and General Hospital. Two of the nominees are from B&B. But no matter which soap these stars visited, they are all equally excited to be nominated for daytime television's biggest honor: a Daytime Emmy.

Naomi Matsuda exclaimed that she was "Feeling So Honored!!" in an Instagram post that shared Soap Central's Emmy nominations graphic. Matsuda later sat down to talk to Soap Central about her nomination, saying "I'm still kind of in shock right now! I'm smiling, stuttering, crying, and laughing! I'm really just so appreciative of being honored, of being nominated. It's a good feeling." You can read our entire interview with Matsuda here.
