The movies have often introduced characters but then dropped them midway, leaving the audience confused. With rewatches, it becomes more and more noticeable. For example, many have pointed out that although playing a major role in the film, Lavender Brown and Ron's relationship is abruptly cut off without a suitable resolution to their relationship's outcome. Lavendar is cast aside without much thought after that.
