50 Cent trolled Lil Meech on a post on his official Instagram page on October 29, 2025. Cent did so in response to the news of the cancellation of the BMF series by Starz. However, according to the publication, the feud between the two is not responsible for the cancellation of the series.Cent has also claimed in the past that he sent Lil Meech to therapy, and that made Big Meech uncomfortable.Lil Meech was the star actor of the BMF series. He played the role of his father, Demetrius "Big Meech" Flenory, Sr. Cent has issued a statement regarding the cancellation of the show, denying any responsibility for it. He said that he was looking into the matter:"I am deeply concerned by the widespread assumption that I had any involvement in the recent cancellation of BMF. I intend to thoroughly investigate this matter to understand exactly how and why it occurred Thank you. @50centactio."Previously, STARZ CEO Jeff Hirsch commented at the Deutsche Bank media conference in March on how TV shows get more expensive once they're three or four seasons long. Hirsch said in the press statement:"When seasons go from one to two to three to four [seasons], three to four is where the cost really pops because most of the actors get bigger raises, and you have to really manage that. So, you have to have in your portfolio of development shows that can actually replace shows as they get into later seasons."Hirsch plainly stated back then that BMF was one of their biggest shows, but it cost half of Power, which was produced by 50 Cent as well, and ran for a total of six seasons:"And so when you bring a BMF on — you know, BMF will be probably one of our two biggest shows, okay, it looks a lot like Power, it cost half as much, right?"50 Cent owns the film rights to the BMF franchiseWhile the show has been canceled by Starz, 50 Cent still owns the film rights to the franchise.
