Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce took the internet by storm when they announced their engagement. Their celebrity friends have sent out congratulatory messages wishing the couple good luck as they venture into a new phase of life. Surprisingly Donald Trump, a foremost critic of Swift’s, had a positive message for the newly engaged couple:

“Well, I wish them a lot of luck,” Trump said. “I think it’s — I think he’s a great player, I think he’s a great guy, and I think that she’s a terrific person. So I wish them a lot of luck.”

Swift and Kelce broke the news of their engagement on Instagram with a carousel of photos showing Travis proposing and a close-up image of the ring. Although the stars turned off the comments section, it didn't stop well-wishers from sharing their congratulations elsewhere.
