In a weak plot, Bad Influence is simply about a girl, namely Reese (Elea Rochera), her bodyguard appointed by her dad, Bruce (Enrique Arce), and her stalker. The girl isn't supportive of her father's decision to send a man behind her who will always be around like a shadow. However, it's pivotal for her dad as a parent.

Things begin this way in Bad Influence and Eros (Alberto Olmo), and the bodyguard starts his duty, mainly because this is some good money and will help him and his couple of friends to support their lives in the future. While Reese isn't supportive of this, Eros eventually becomes her love interest in the film.

That's a problem, because one of Eros's friends, Peyton (Mirela Balic), turns out to be the stalker. The stalker wanted her revenge for an incident that killed her mother. That incident was also the reason Eros was sent to a detention center after that.

However, as we see in Bad Influence, it seems like Reese's toxic boyfriend, Raul (Fernando Fraga), is the one seeking to hurt her. That is almost convincing until the girl pieces together things that lead her to the conclusion that Peyton is the real stalker. Peyton had lied about her work at the bar. Instead, she is actually a cleaner at the institute where Reese is.

Eros became friends with Peyton and Diego (Farid Bechara) after that incident happened. It is revealed in Bad Influence that the fire in a restaurant owned by Bruce caused the deaths of Eros's parents. People blamed him, and he was sent to a group home.

However, there is a twist. Peyton's mother was also at the scene, for she was a server there. When the event happened, her mother died there too. So Peyton was hellbent on revenge on Bruce. Bruce here isn't so innocent either.

Bad Influence shows it was his cigar that caused the fire and led to the events in the present day. He knew Eros's parents, too, and the fact that he chose him as her daughter's bodyguard is him playing his redemption arc in the movie. He did have the guilt, and now he wants to give a decent life to Eros after he has spent time living off some petty crimes while at the group home.

When Peyton discovers that Eros and Bruce are working together, she tries to talk the former out of it so he doesn't work for the latter.

Peyton did get her revenge in Bad Influence. In the end, we see her going bananas, and it seems like she will kill the daughter for the father's sins. However, she doesn't kill Reese to torment the father. Instead, she kills the father only. Tit for Tat.

The story ends here for Peyton, and while she is likely in prison at the end of Bad Influence, there is no such moment featured in the film. About Reese and Eros? They end up together. Not just that, Reese becomes successful after getting into a dance company, an endeavor Eros supports.
