Barron's Cove: Release date news, cast details and more about the upcoming thriller starring Brittany Snow

The upcoming crime drama thriller Barron's Cove starring Garrett Hedlund is gearing up for a June, 2025 release in limited theatres across the United States. Brittany Snow is also a part of this project which is being directed by Evan Ari Kelman who has also worked as a screenwriter of the film.

Barron's Cove is the story of a father and how the tragic death of his only offspring sends him in a state of mental delirium and how he resorts to dark ways (that also justify his troubled past). Per Variety, the movie has been co-produced by Yale Productions, Mandalay Pictures, SSS Entertainment and American Picture House Corporation.

"After his son is tragically killed, a grieving father with a history of violence kidnaps the child responsible, igniting a frenzied manhunt fueled by a powerful politician, the father of the kidnapped boy."

Barron's Cove will have a limited theatrical premiere in the United States on June 6, 2025. It will also be accessible (for renting as well as buying) through VOD services from the same date. Barron's Cove also shares release date with big BO entry From the World of John Wick: Ballerina.

Barron's Cove revolves around a father (played by Garrett Hedlund) whose past is dark and lingers on to his present. However, things become even worse for him when, out of the blue, his only child dies tragically.

Torn by the loss, the father targets a local (and very influential) politician, thereby holding him accountable for his son's sudden passing. As an act of revenge, Garrett Hedlund's character abducts the son of the politician and it eventually leads to a media outrage - not to mention the deadly manhunt that follows.

While the heartbroken father goes on a quest for finding the truth, he is left with bigger questions that need answers. With the police on his back and a big political influence (that is probably on to covering things up), the protagonist finds himself sitting on the fence, trying to figure what is what. So far, any further details of the plot are being kept under the wraps.
