Drake turned 39 on October 24, 2025. The rapper posted pictures of his birthday celebration on a post on his official Instagram page. In the caption of his post, the rapper stated:

"Foul vowels for anybody trying the owls…one more year pon dem."

It is unclear what the singer meant by this statement. The singer posted pictures featuring several women, as well as a picture of his diamond-certified songs. This statement by the rapper has since then triggered reactions online, like the one quoted below:

"Bro be speaking in Hogwarts riddles and somehow it still sounds like a warning.

Netizens had mixed reactions to the rapper's comment, with some pointing out how the rapper's word holds the attention of people online. Others were more critical:

"Drake the only rapper who can say absolutely nothing and still break the internet." one netizen stated.
"He can't even write anything that makes sense on his own." another netizen stated.
"Bro talking like a Shakespearean sorcerer every time he loses a friend. “Foul vowels for anybody trying the owls” sounds like a spell you cast when your album reviews drop. One more year of cryptic threats from a man in a marble bathtub." one commenter opined.
"If he would just sit down and close his mouth everyone wouldn’t be hating, including me." a reactor commented.

Drake also celebrated his birthday by visiting a game between the Blue Jays and the Dodgers in the World Series. He went to the game wearing a Don Bosco letterman jacket with the initials of the late Rob Ford, the mayor of Toronto and a volunteer coach for Don Bosco Catholic Secondary School.

Drake has earned six diamond certifications

Drake has just earned six diamond certifications, as per Billboard. The singer earned diamond certifications for the song Take Care, a collaboration with Rihanna. He also earned certifications for Nice for What and The Motto, as well as Headlines, Passionfruit, and Nonstop.

The singer also earned platinum certifications for Views, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, and For all the Dogs. All three albums moved up their multi-platinum certifications, with the first going to 9 platinum certifications, while the other two went up to 5 and 3 certifications, respectively.

Drake recently appeared in an interview with Bobi Althoff on her podcast. During the interview, the singer talked about why he had foregone traditional media interviews:

"I think it changed a lot of things. It has changed a lot of things, like on TikTok. It changed a lot of things, like in the streaming world, it made people more comfortable to go sit down with somebody that they’ve never sat down with before."

The singer continued:

"Not to take like overly take credit, but when I do see somebody like a Nicki Minaj go to Kai Cenat’s house, or I see these musicians go to Plaqueboy Max’s studio and start making songs with him."

The singer added:

"I feel like we did usher in the idea that the goal is not to be some unattainable dickhead for your whole life, you know, and only sit with Zane Lowe while he asks you the most curated and formal questions. No disrespect to him, you know, but I think we did something that was special.."

Drake is set to release his latest studio album, Iceman, sometime in the near future. The album, when released, will be the singer's ninth studio album. It will also be his first full-length solo album since 2023's For All the Dogs.
