American actor and film producer Brad Pitt has been working on a sports drama film that will be released this summer. Pitt's latest project, F1, is a collaborative project with the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and is based on the Formula One World Championship. The upcoming film will be released internationally in theaters on June 25, 2025. However, it will be released in the US and Canada two days later on June 27, 2025.

Pitt was interviewed by Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of his latest film in Mexico City. The 61-year-old actor talked about different topics, including his experience while working on F1. According to the Fight Club actor, working with "high-performance" cars was mentally challenging, but therapeutic at the same time.

Brad Pitt said during the interview:

"If you're just a fraction of a second behind on your turning point, or if you're having an uneasy day and you're not committed to the car, trusting the car, you get it all wrong... And then there are these days where it is so sublime, you just cannot believe what these cars can do."

More details about Brad Pitt's experience while working on F1

Before the actor talked about his experience while filming the sports drama film, he talked about personal growth, including learning from mistakes. Pitt said:

"No matter the mistake, you just learn from it and move on, and it'll lead to the next success... Really, I think, you get to my age and you really see how important it is to surround yourself with the people you love, the people that will love you back—friends and family—and that's it."

He believes in living a life that is authentic and filled with creativity.

Brad Pitt also had more to say about working on the racing tracks. He elaborated on the "sense of stillness" he feels while being behind the wheel:

"It's just this moment ... on the straights, which you're actually going the fastest, but this is the place where you actually get to rest and you can catch your breath and you just let everything down, just a couple of degrees and there your mind might wander."

Brad Pitt is not the only famous face on F1; other A-listers include Javier Bardem, Damson Idris, Tobias Menzies, and Kerry Condon. The release of the film has been carefully planned. The international release is scheduled to be four days before the Austrian Grand Prix. While the release in the US and Canada is set to be two days before the mentioned Grand Prix.
