Police have stated that their involvement in this case was routine. Detectives have reviewed any security-camera recordings, and neighbors and building staff have been interviewed, although they have not reported any suspicious activity.

The case will not be closed until the medical examiner provides a clear cause of death. The police have urged anyone with information about the case to report to the 76th Precinct.
