Denise Richards has reportedly rejoined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast even as her divorce battle with Aaron Phypers continues. The news started to surface after she was spotted shooting scenes for the show at Los Angeles restaurant Madre, alongside cast members Erika Jayne and Sutton Stracke.

Although Denise Richards' visit to the restaurant has raised a lot of speculation over her participation in the next season of RHOBH, producers have not come out to comment on the level of her involvement on the show. In the case of the longtime fans, this comeback will be like a full circle, as Richards’ previous stint on the show included her wedding to Phypers.

Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers' divorce details

Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers are currently in the middle of an increasingly contentious divorce battle, and have been legally separated for almost a month now. The divorce filing was initiated by Phypers, who has cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for wanting the divorce and is also seeking monetary support in return.

Richards has filed a lawsuit of her own, where she has accused Aaron of alleged physical abuse. As per the court filings obtained by PEOPLE, Richards alleges that Phypers’ actions resulted in “multiple concussions” and that he has continued to violate court orders by attempting to contact her and disseminating private information.

The timing of Denise Richards' RHOBH return has raised eyebrows among viewers and cast members alike, particularly given the circumstances of her previous departure. Richards quit after season 10 in 2020 after she was allegedly alienated by the cast members amid rumors and feuds.

Her exit was marked by tension with several cast members, including former friend Lisa Rinna. She shed light on the circumstances surrounding her departure while making an appearance on SiriusXM’s Jess Cagle Show, where she was quoted as saying:

"It was very, very hard. It was really hard, actually. That was the biggest reason why I didn’t go back for a third season because it was just, well, I was like, ‘No one likes me on this show anymore, so who would I even talk to except for Garcelle [Beauvais]. I have become really good friends with Sutton, but at the time, I didn’t know her, so I just felt like I didn’t have any friends on the show."

Richard has returned to the RHOBH around the same time as her own reality show, Denise Richards and Her Wild Things was canceled following her divorce announcement. Although it is not clear what her role would be in the next season of RHOBH, fans will keep an eye out for her involvement when the 15th season kicks off later this year.
