Iranian-American model and actor Sam Asghari has shared his opinion concerning Kevin Federline’s upcoming memoir.

In an exclusive interview with TMZ, the actor and former husband of Britney Spears was questioned about his opinion pertaining to the book.

Catching him outside, according to a report published on August 16, 2025, the TMZ interviewer asked him questions.

“I wanted to ask you, you know, Kevin Federline just announced he's going to be releasing a new book. I want to know if you had any thoughts on that?”

Sam asked the interviewer to clarify about the book’s content. The interviewer replied that Kevin would discuss his life and marriage with Britney Spears. The 31-year-old actor said, taking a swipe at Kevin, stated,

“Well, he was a professional father, so that he would be a great... it would be the first book that'll tell you how to be a professional father".

Kevin Federline announced on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, that he would release a memoir titled You Thought You Knew. The father of six revealed that the memoir will be released on October 21 through the new audio imprint Listenin.

Kevin described the memoir as intimate and transparent, adding that it was one of his biggest dreams to write a memoir.

“This book is extremely intimate and transparent. I achieved my biggest dreams, dealt with crushing heartbreak, and endured constant ridicule, all while becoming the father my children needed as they experienced nonstop emotional turbulence. If you’ve ever had questions, you’ll find answers here."

According to a press release, Kevin Fedeline’s memoir, You Thought You Knew, will guide readers through a story of,

“fame, fatherhood and the private cost of public life — from one of pop culture’s most misunderstood figures”.

Barracuda Baby Production also spoke about the memoir’s release, as it will debut via Listenin, a new feature of the production house. The chairman of Barracuda Baby company said,

“We’re proud to have Kevin as the first of our three books launching with Listenin. He spent two years in every tabloid and two decades navigating a volatile, ever-changing reality — choosing silence to protect his kids. That silence left scars. Listening was built for real voices telling real stories, and sharing Kevin’s story after everything said about him means a lot to us.
