No evidence has been found to support Tara Reid's claim that she was drugged at a Chicago hotel, TMZ has learned. Police went through the hotel's security footage but didn't see anything to suggest Tara was given a substance, the outlet reported.

In a statement reported by People, police stated:

"While video surveillance showed Tara Reid at the hotel bar, at no time did video show anyone tampering with or adding something to her drink. We can confirm that a bartender covered her drink when she left the bar which is standard practice for bartenders to do."

Last month, the actress filed a report with the Rosemont Police Department saying she passed out at the DoubleTree Hotel in Rosemont after having a drink, suggesting somebody had drugged her drink. The incident took place on November 23, according to People.

She reportedly said:

"a bunch of people in the lobby that were supposedly YouTubers."

Tara, explaining the situation and giving details about the person she met, added:

"A man came up to me and introduced himself as Sean P, a very successful influencer and YouTuber"

However, no evidence has been found against her claim as of now, suggesting that she was given any substance. Police are still waiting for her medical records to confirm the same.

Tara Reid shares what happened before she was allegedly drugged

Tara Reid said that she and Sean P stepped out of the hotel for a bit, exchanged numbers, and smoked together, and when she came back, she noticed a napkin on her drink.

She told police, according to a statement reported by People:

"Then the last thing I remember was drinking that drink and seeing a couple sitting next to us. The next thing I remember was waking up in the hospital around 8 hours or more later, not knowing where I was or anything that happened. I completely blacked out with no recollection of anything."

Later, Tara Reid was taken to a hospital, where her agent found her. Sean P was also interrogated after Tara's claims. However, he denied giving any substance to her. Sean was also asked about Tara's claim that he sent her videos she saw as extortion. He said he just told her a friend had footage of her being carried from the hotel to the hospital on a stretcher.

Giving further updates on the case, the police said in a statement reported by People:

"Pending those results or further information coming forward, our detectives will follow up on those leads accordingly. At this time there is no criminal act that has been committed and there is no one we are currently investigating."
