Popular roots rock and alternative country singer and songwriter Todd Snider is dead. He died on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 59.

Todd didn't have any children because, according to him, he would have “left them on the hood of the car.” However, he was once married to painter Melita Osheowitz.

“Looking back at age 50, I would agree there is an inherent selfishness to it,” Todd Snider said. “There was this crowd of people that wasn’t growing up, and I wanted to stay in it. It can become altruistic and help other people, but, honestly, it’s not always conducive to being a good brother.”

According to reports, the Just Like Old Times crooner met Melita in rehab in 1997, and they tied the knot soon after. In 2015, Snider revealed that he “just got divorced.”
