Don't Fall In Love Fest is presented by Street Mob Records and Bobby Dee. The festival was created by Fuerza Regida and is named after the band's eighth studio album, Pero No Te Enamores. The festival is Jesús Ortíz Paz's effort to support the Inland Empire community.
Jesús Ortíz Paz stated in a press statement:
"Don't Fall in Love Fest is back, and we're coming back with full force. Neton, Future, Chief Keef, Banda MS, música mexicana meets rap across two stages. No one has done anything like this before, and after last year's success, we can't wait for fans to come celebrate the music, the culture, and the energy with us."
Alongside the festival tickets, the Don't Fall In Love Fest website is also selling merchandise, including hoodies and tees. The festival website does not have any listed information regarding entry into the festival or other such details. Interested patrons will need to check on the festival's official socials to learn such details as when they are released.
The first edition of the festival featured performances by Los Angeles Azules, Lil Baby, Kodak Black, and more. During the unveiling of the first edition, Jesús Ortíz Paz stated he wanted to do something special for the city, which is the band's hometown.
As mentioned above, Don't Fall In Love Fest is inspired by Fuerza Regida's eighth studio album, Pero No Te Enamores, which was released on July 25, 2024. The album's name translates into But Don't Fall in Love in English.
Street Mob Records is also run by Jesús Ortíz Paz. The singer talked about Street Mob Records in an exclusive interview with Uproxx that was released on July 24, 2024:
"I got my partners Walks and Toro and my big team and they help me. I get to focus on everything. They help me with Fuerza Regida as well because the group is under Street Mob Records. I’ve always wanted to be a businessman, so that’s natural to me. All we do is work. Now we have a record label we gotta run. We got a band."
The singer continued:
"We’re just busy being entrepreneurs. I’m doing the artist thing. We’re doing everything. With Oswaldo NR, Chino Pacas, Calle 24, and Clave Especial, we’re killing it to be honest. All my artists are killing it. It’s crazy. We’re living history right now. We’re all in our twenties. We got a record label coming up with a bunch of artists coming up. It’s amazing."
Don't Fall In Love Festival is not the only non-music activity Fuerza Regida is involved in. The band has previously contributed to Inclusive Action for the City for street vendor legalization, among others.
