The bejeweled pendant that Arwen gives Aragorn as a token of their love in the first The Lord of the Rings film before he joins the fellowship in their quest. While this artifact is a non-canonical object created specifically for the films, it went on to become one of the important artifacts of the LOTR universe.

It signified Arwen’s eternal love for Aragorn and her devotion to him. The white, glimmering stone made several appearances in the trilogy, signifying both Aragorn’s and Arwen’s commitment to each other. Another important object that fans would love to own from The Lord of the Rings universe is the Middle-earth map. While it might be one of the few objects that doesn’t have anything to do with magic, the map is a must-have due to its importance in navigating the vast lands of Middle-earth.

It might be one of the most helpful objects, as it will help you navigate safely and avoid the many dangers lurking across Middle-earth.

The Palantíri, or seeing stones, were used to gather intel or communicate with others. These ancient seeing-stones appear both in The Lord of the Rings films and The Rings of Power series. In the films, Minas Ithil and Orthanc Palantíri were shown.

During Gandalf’s visit to Isengard in the first LOTR film, he sees Saruman using the Orthanc Palantír to communicate with Sauron, revealing that he has joined Sauron in the fight for the One Ring. Later, in Rings of Power, Galadriel is seen using the Palantír of Númenor and sees a vision of the island’s upcoming downfall.

While a dangerous object, the Palantíri play an important role in The Lord of the Rings universe and are ancient artifacts that fans would love to own.

4) Galadriel’s Phial

Galadriel’s Phial might be one of the most important objects from The Lord of the Rings universe that would be beneficial to own. The tiny vial contains two magical elements from the Elven world: Galadriel’s fountain water and the light of Eärendil’s star; the quantity is small but still powerful.

She gives the phial to Frodo, which comes in handy in their fight against Shelob by defeating the spider with its light. Therefore, Galadriel’s Phial is one of the most important and helpful objects from the LOTR universe.

3) The Elven rings

The Elven rings, namely Narya, Nenya, and Vilya, are important artifacts of The Lord of the Rings universe due to their exceptional powers. The rings were used by their bearers to safeguard their people from evil forces.

From bringing hope and helping in preservation to healing the injured, these rings are capable of achieving any of these feats. Presently, the three rings belong to Gandalf, Elrond, and Galadriel. These three already play a vital role in Tolkien’s narrative, and the rings help them keep evil forces at bay from places and people.

2) Silmarils

The Silmarils are among the most powerful and treasured creations of the Elves in The Lord of the Rings universe. These stones or jewels were created by the renowned Elf Fëanor, who captured the light of Valinor’s two trees to create these invaluable stones. Peter Jackson’s films don’t mention the jewels at all. However, The Rings of Power mentions them twice in the two seasons.

In the Prime Video show, it is suggested that mithril may have originated from the Silmarils, and later Adar mentions that the jewels were once a part of Morgoth’s crown before being destroyed. Due to their importance in the LOTR universe, fans might want to own this ancient artifact.

1) The One Ring

The most powerful and infamous artifact in Middle-earth is undoubtedly the One Ring. Created by Sauron, who is also its owner, it was made to rule the Rings of Power. We have seen the efforts and lengths Sauron goes to create the Rings in The Rings of Power.

Furthermore, we have also seen how he seeks it by calling for it in the LOTR films. The dark magic is so compelling that it created Gollum and almost killed Frodo. Though a dark object, I bet fans would do anything to own the most powerful object from the LOTR universe. Its allure is irresistible—even to those who know the danger it brings.
