Final Destination Bloodlines will soon be available for streaming, Warner Bros. Discovery has confirmed in a press release. It will be available on HBO Max, beginning August 1, 2025, and will debut on HBO linear a day after. As of this writing, the film remains fresh with 93% critics' approval at Rotten Tomatoes, the best in the franchise.

It comes 14 years after the release of Final Destination 5 (2011), which is interesting because the first five films were released within a span of 11 years, that is, between 2000 and 2011. Apart from being the highest-rated movie in the franchise, it is also the highest-grossing movie among all the films, garnering $285 million at the box office.

Other films' box office success is as follows: The Final Destination ($187 million), Final Destination 5 ($158 million), Final Destination 3 ($119 million), Final Destination ($113 million), and Final Destination 2 ($91 million).

The film continues the death cycle, but this time it's a bit different. According to the synopsis as presented in the press release,

"Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefani heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle - her grandmother, Iris - and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all."

It stars Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, and more. Todd Howard, who has been in the series since the beginning, is also in it in a posthumous appearance.
