Finesse2Tymes was reportedly arrested on October 20, 2025, on multiple drug possession charges by the Harris County Sheriff's Office in Texas. The rapper was arrested for possession of controlled substances, possession of marijuana, possession of a prohibited substance in a correctional facility, as well as tampering with evidence, possession of a dangerous drug, and more, as per Complex's article on the matter on October 21, 2025.

Finesse2Tymes reportedly arrested on multiple drug charges in Texas

As per court documents obtained by Complex, the singer was being held at Harrison County Jail. However, he was apparently released from county jail after obtaining bail. The singer has since then made a statement, stating in an Instagram page post:

"See the difference between me and most is idc about showing my growth , I ain’t running from my flaws , I ain’t hiding behind no PR , I aint hiding behind no money , I ain’t doin what no label tell me to don’t, i “SHOW that I don’t like u Nygas I don’t sugar coat and shake hands when I see ya , and I ain’t fakin."

The singer continued:

"This my real life , and yeah ima shake back I always do. God never put me through more than I can handle But while yall posting my downfall , Post what’s gone bring me up to. I ain’t just a fukk up , I got talent , and it ain’t my fault that I gotta catch on to life late , i ain’t have a mama , daddy , to hold my hand they was fukk ups to but At least i know what loyalty."

This was the latest reported arrest of the singer. He was previously arrested back in September 2025 by Smith County police officers during a traffic stop, reportedly for not wearing a seatbelt while driving. Before that, the rapper had been arrested back in 2010, 2017 as well as in 2023.

Finesse2Tymes is seeking custody of one of his daughters

Finesse2Tymes recently revealed that he was seeking custody of one of his daughters after the daughter's mother died. The name of the daughter or the mother is not known as of the writing of this article. Finesse2Tymes stated in a video that has since gone viral on social media:

"Condolences to my baby mama. Was we on good terms? No, have we been on good terms since my daughter been here? No, I made my daughter through the game. I made my daughter through pimping. My daughter didn’t come from a successful relationship with this lady. But I don’t own her daughter nothing."

The singer continued:

"Only reason why I know her name is from her momma sending me a Zelle to send her money. I don’t know y’all. I called for my daughter sanity. I’m her biological father, by law and I’m coming to get her, since you wanna play."
