Amazon founder and billionaire Jeff Bezos married his new wife, Lauren Sánchez, in a stunning ceremony on a small island near St. Mark's Square in Venice. The couple's wedding was a multi-day event that began on Thursday and is expected to continue until Saturday, concluding in a large celebration for their guests.

The event attracted a star-studded crowd, with several celebrities being photographed in the city just before it began. This three-day celebration, estimated to cost $46 million, featured around 200 guests who gathered to honour the new couple. The crowd included highly celebrated personalities like Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates, The Kardashians, Tom Brady, Orlando Bloom, Usher, and Ivanka Trump.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding in Venice has recently become one of the most talked-about events of 2025. Many celebrities were spotted at the wedding of Jeff and Lauren. Among the attendees were the Kardashian family, including Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner.

Oprah Winfrey was also in attendance, along with Ivanka Trump and her partner, Jared Kushner. Usher and Tom Brady were seen together at the event.

Other celebrities at the event include Sydney Sweeney, Gayle King, Vittoria Ceretti, Karlie Kloss, Ellie Goulding, Queen Rania of Jordan, Orlando Bloom, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bill Gates, Brooks Nader, François-Henri Pinault, Darren Aronofsky, Guilherme Siqueira and Domenico Dolce.

The male guests were mostly in black tuxedos while the women wore a colourful array of formal and extravagant dresses. Lauren’s wedding dress was featured on the cover of Vogue. The bride wore a stunning white dress from Dolce & Gabbana. In an interview with Vogue, she revealed that she didn't let Jeff Bezos see the dress during their fitting and wanted to surprise him on the day of the wedding.

“It was more powerful than I thought. I almost gave in! But I want it to be a surprise. As you get a little older, not many things surprise you. I can’t wait to see his face.”

Lauren’s wedding dress was a little bit conservative. It featured a high neckline made with lace detailing and long lace sleeves. It came with a figure-hugging bodice before transitioning into a full flare at the bottom. Tiny white buttons adorned the front of the dress from the top to the bottom.

“It is a departure from what people expect, from what I expect—but it’s very much me. Yes. I think he will be pleasantly surprised. I think he’s going to be so happy. I mean, it’s so elegant, it’s timeless,” she said, explaining that it's her first formal dress that is so covered up.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez got engaged in May 2023. This marriage is the second for both Jeff and his wife. The couple currently has seven children between them, all from their previous marriage.
