Happy Gilmore 2 follows the footprint of Marvel movies, as it contains a mid-credit scene. Towards the end, our titular golfer has turned sober and has managed to send his daughter to a ballet school. He accompanies his children to the airport as they go to Paris. Happy promises that he will join them after the British Open.

That is when the mid-credits scene takes place. It showcases the eventual fate of Frank Manatee (played by Benny Safdie), whose company, Maxi Energy Drink, has been shut down due to health concerns. We see a news channel broadcasting news on the same. The host, named Daniels, says that "the bad news just keeps coming" for Maxi.

He then continues,

"Since the spectacular failure of the Maxi Golf League, the popular Maxi Sports Drink has been recalled after complaints it caused irreversible halitosis, gingivitis, and a new condition they’re calling tongue rot."

We see a picture of Manatee with a green tongue. Daniels then reveals that his team has not been able to locate Manatee. We then see that Scottie Scheffler is watching the news while he is incarcerated. He was arrested earlier in the film for punching a man heckling during a tournament. A guard then approaches him to make a call. After that, Scheffler says he would stick around for one more night when the guard tells him what's for dinner.

The post-credit scene manages to give us a glimpse into the fate of two characters, mainly Manatee and Scottie. There is also a hint of ambiguity, and things are left open.
