You probably know the drill β Bob Odenkirk is back again at what he does best: cracking skulls with deadpan and a Dad's Gone Wild energy. The first Nobody 2 trailer has dropped (yes, this is the sequel to that amazing 2021 sleeper), and unfolds with Hutch Mansell basically making overboard vacation plans with his familyβ¦and it involves body bags, brass knuckles, and blood.
βI told you, Iβm on f***ing vacation,β Odenkirk roars as he knocks out a bad guy, the quintessential bonafide badass line of his type that back in 2021 made the original Nobody a cult classic.
Family fun meets full-blown mayhem
The follow-up reintroduces Hutch, making up to his wife, Becca (Connie Nielsen), and his kids. The idea of fun is a restful summer drive to Wild Bill's Majestic Midway and Waterparkβa mind tease to his own childhood. It quickly spirals when a meeting with some townies leads Hutch to take down the crooked sheriff (Colin Hanks) and a ruthless crime boss played by Sharon Stone.
βIβve come to terms with the fact that you donβt have an average job,β Becca says in the trailer. βBut we havenβt seen you in months, and summer breakβs just a few days away.β
The ironic Christmas tune "Holiday Road" by Lindsey Buckingham plays over scenes of exploding RVS, amusement park beefs, and a wild water-slide shootout.
Nobody 2 brings new faces, same carnage
Sharon Stone, Colin Hanks, and John Ortiz are the latest to join in as new antagonists in the franchise; old characters RZA, Christopher Lloyd, and Michael Ironside reappear to back up Hutch on the blood-splattered mission.

Stoneβs villain looks especially unhinged. βFind this nobody,β she snarls. βScorched earth.β Itβs a promise of brutal retribution β and fans wouldnβt want it any other way.
Helmed by Indonesian action maestro Timo Tjahjanto (The Night Comes for Us), Nobody 2 is penned by Derek Kolstad (creator of John Wick) and Aaron Rabin. With that creative team and 87North to produce, one ought to expect stylish violence and dry wit in equal measure.
Still a Nobody, just more dangerous

Four years after Hutch single-handedly dismantled a Russian mob empire, heβs now paying off $30 million in debt with a globe-trotting hitman schedule. The sequel finds him weary, overworked, and drifting from his familyβuntil Plummerville's local corruption throws him right back into the fight.
As the logline teases:
"Sometimes the most dangerous place for a dad is a family vacation."
Catch the mayhem this summer as Nobody 2 gears up
Nobody 2 is set to hit the theatres on August 15, 2025, via Universal Pictures. Like more blood, more history, and Bob Odenkirk doing more of what fans like⦠THIS is a vacation that you should certainly not miss, even though Hutch surely would.
