According to Vogue, the WNBA star attended last year's show and then expressed her desire to become a Victoria's Secret model one day on her Instagram story.

Now, when her manifestation became reality on Wednesday, Angel Reese posted a full recap from the show on her Instagram. The WNBA star shared her looks from the show. She also shared a series of videos and pictures on her Instagram story. Among them, Reese shared the reaction of her mother and her modeling coach.

In a video, Reese's mother could be seen recording her daughter's catwalk on her phone. Cheering for her daughter, she shouted,

"That's my baby!"

Reese captioned her mom's reaction with

"This is who I do it for."

On Thursday, she reshared a post by user @triplea_runway, who, according to People, was the athlete's modeling coach. The user posted a picture of Angel Reese with the caption:

"Congrats on a job well done and a successful show. You came in ready to work and the world saw the results!"

While resharing the post, Reese noted that the person was "behind the walk" and thanked him.

Before her walk, Reese sat for a quick interview with Zanna Roberts Rassi; the 23-year-old model candidly talked about her feelings before the show. The fashion journalist asked her to draw parallels between preparing for her game and the ramp walk.

"It's the same. It's the same. You trust your work. I've been working with a modeling coach. I hired a modeling coach to perfect my walk. You can ask everybody here. I walked yesterday and it was together," Reese said.

The fashion journalist asked Angel Reese about her feelings about being the first athlete to walk on the ramp of Victoria's Secret. In her response, the basketball player said,

"It feels amazing because with my name also being Angel, I think it's literally perfect. It was destined for me. I think this is already for me so I’m just really happy to be sitting in this room with so many amazing models, so many amazing women."

A week before the show, the athlete talked to People and expressed her feelings about the show. She told the outlet that she was "proud and excited" to walk on the ramp. She said she hoped to "inspire women and girls" and "remind" them that they could excel in their fields while pursuing goals beyond their fields.
