Harrison Bader of the Philadelphia Phillies managed to make it up to a Phillies fan after an upsetting moment where a home run ball was taken from the young fan by a woman. As seen in the clips that are going viral, a Phillies fan by the name of Drew Feltwell tried to grab the home run ball for his son and managed to do so. He was seen giving his son the ball and hugging him on screen.
A few moments later, another Phillies fan, a woman, came to confront Feltwell and asked for the ball. The verbal exchange went on for a couple of seconds before Drew gave in and handed her the ball. Lincoln, Feltwell’s son, was visibly disappointed after losing the ball his dad got for him.
But in a turn of events, a Marlins staff member came up to the boy and gave him a prize pack. Lincoln Feltwell also returned home with a special gift from Harrison Bader.

After the incident where the home run ball was taken away from 9-year-old Phillies fan Lincoln Feltwell, Harrison Bader, the Phillies center fielder, tried to make it up to the little boy.

What did Drew Feltwell say after Harrison Bader gave his son a signed baseball bat?
NBC10 interviewed Drew Feltwell after the video from the incident went viral. Drew was at the Phillies vs. Marlins game with his wife and two kids. It was part of Lincoln’s upcoming 10th birthday.
He shared:
"We're just trying to make this week about him... I felt like super dad putting that ball in his glove and giving him a hug."
That’s when an unknown woman came up to Feltwell to demand the ball. The father of two said that the woman was standing six inches from his ear and was screaming:
"That's my ball!"
Feltwell could be seen giving her the ball back.
Regarding that moment, Drew said:
"Still in disbelief that she walked down there like that... Just trying to set an example of how to de-escalate a situation in front of my son, I guess."
The woman was booed out of the stadium after the episode with Lincoln and Drew. It was reported that she left five minutes after she took the ball.
He added:
"I wish I had the ball for my son to put in his room next to the bat, but if I had the ball, I probably wouldn’t have gotten the bat, so it worked out fine... We ended up having a good night because of good people."
However, he still regrets that the ball was taken away from his son. Drew concluded by saying:
"Putting the ball in his glove and then taking it back out killed me... I hope that ball means a lot to her."
Harrison Bader turned the disappointing moment into a memorable one by gifting Lincoln Feltwell a signed bat. The thoughtful gesture ensured the young fan still left the ballpark with a smile and a memory to cherish.
