Reports claim that Nick Reiner is nowhere close to processing the aftermath of his actions. Nick, who is currently being held in an L.A jail is apparently still dazed, as per TMZ. The news outlet revealed in an exclusive publication that ‘a source with direct knowledge’ shared that the 32-year-old who was arrested for allegedly killing his parents has shown no signs of grief and is instead in a foggy state. The source used words like calm, cognizant, and dazed to describe the state of Nick.

According to the publication, Nick was diagnosed with schizophrenia, and his strange behaviour might be partly because of the medications he is taking.

It is reported by eyewitnesses that Nick Reiner was behaving erratically in the hours leading up to his parents' death.

“Nick was freaking everyone out, acting crazy, kept asking people if they were famous,” a source revealed to People magazine.

More details on Nick Reiner’s arrest

Nick Reiner was arrested after his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, were found dead in their Brentwood, California, home in the early hours of Sunday. Nick Reiner is being investigated as the primary suspect of murder. Several sources who claimed to have spoken to the deceased relatives told People magazine that Nick killed his parents.

The suspect, who has been charged with two counts of third-degree murder, recently made his first court appearance wearing a sleeveless blue anti-suicide smock and shackles. He was mostly quiet and only answered when the judge asked him if he wanted to waive his right to a speedy arraignment. He replied:

“Yes, your honor.”

Nick’s attorney, Alan Jackson, spoke about the case during the first court appearance:

“There are very, very complex and serious issues that are associated with this case. Those need to be thoroughly, but very carefully, dealt with and examined and looked at and analyzed.”

Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman shared that if convicted, Nick Reiner could face life in prison without the possibility of parole or the death penalty. While Hochman added that no point has been taken in respect to the death penalty, they will take the family’s wishes into consideration.
