"I was in the back of the FaceTime": Patrick Mahomes shares how he secretly found out about Taylor Swift’s album early

Patrick Mahomes has revealed he’s been in on one of Taylor Swift’s biggest secrets for a while now though not exactly by design. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback shared that he and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, learned about Taylor’s upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl right after she recorded the New Heights podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce.

Speaking at a recent press conference, Patrick explained that the call actually came through to Brittany, not him.

“I was just in the back of the FaceTime,” he said.

While Taylor’s news was technically meant for Brittany, Patrick admitted it caught him off guard too. Still, he couldn’t hide his excitement, saying he’s looking forward to hearing the album after getting a small glimpse of how much work Taylor puts into her music.
