Veteran actor Jamie Lee Curtis has spoken in a very recent interview with 60 Minutes, about her reason to do commercials despite being a huge star.

The Academy and Golden Globe-winning actor had acted in commercials for diverse brands including Activia yogurt, L’eggs pantyhose, and Hertz rental cars. Lee Curtis has served as the spokesperson for those brands whilst she was enjoying immense success working in the Hollywood industry.

In the interview, when Jamie Lee Curtis was asked about her reason for choosing to do commercials at that point in her career, the actor responded:

“We make it look good, we think we’ve done it, but the truth is we feel badly, but I know how much time away from them I spent”

"Allowed me to stay home with my kids", Jamie Lee Curtis opens up about doing commercials

On the recent broadcast of 60 Minutes, on the night of Sunday, actor Jamie Lee Curtis opened up about a certain career choice that she has made in her past.

The multiple award-winning actor, who is also a big star, had served as a spokesperson for brands ranging from cars to food, to fashion. The brands that she had worked with include Hertz rental cars, Activia yogurt, and L’eggs pantyhose.

In the interview, when Lee Curtis was asked about her choice of doing commercials whilst being at the top of her game in Hollywood, the 66-year-old actor responded by mentioning:

“For the most part, because [doing the commercials] allowed me to stay home with my kids,”
“I am an imperfect working mom. Because no working moms are perfect.”

She further added:

“We make it look good, we think we’ve done it, but the truth is we feel badly, but I know how much time away from them I spent in pursuit of my own creativity.”

She is married to actor Christopher Guest. The couple has adopted two children, Annie and Ruby.

Jamie Lee Curtis, who has earned the title of 'Scream Queen', has had an illustrious career in the industry since the year 1977.

Lee Curtis has also lent her voice to films and series such as Pigs Next Door (2000), Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys (2001), The Little Engine That Could (2011), From Up on Poppy Hill (2012) and Archer (2020).
