Tony Todd had a legacy in voice roles, be it in films or video games. His last film, Final Destination Bloodlines, is currently running in theaters and is already doing better than any of the past films that came in the franchise. We all know him and remember him as the expert on death, William Bludworth.
It's not the only iconic role he is remembered for. His painter without a hand, Candyman, is something that existed before William Bludworth. But between Candyman and Final Destination, he appeared in Michael Bay's Transformers sequel, Revenge of the Fallen.
I found this while I was simply reading about him. Despite the fact that I have seen that film multiple times, I never realized Tony Todd was behind this voice. And then I had to watch the clips of the film again, and I realized how easy it is to miss that voice amid that metal clanking and conversations.
Tony Todd was the voice of the Fallen in the Michael Bay film

In the film, Tony Todd voiced the Fallen, that long-faced ancient piece of metal who stole the Matrix of Leadership from Optimus Prime (voiced by Peter Cullen) when they first met. He was originally defeated by the other Primes when he was at his prime and became the original Decepticon. So, the roots of the Autobots' rivals go back to this guy.
From the day I first saw the Fallen to today, I still find that transformer pretty classy. He had a personality like a king, unlike the metal boot-licking Megatron (voiced by Hugo Weaving). I found his voice pretty scary, too. It can still give kids nightmares. But the fact that I was today years old when I discovered the man behind that metal-clanking antagonist has made him a more interesting character to me.
And I am not exactly a Final Destination fan, but Tony Todd's William Bludworth was always one character to watch. The vibes simply change when his scenes are playing on the screen. A little eerie, but in a good way.
It just grows the apprehension to imagine that he died during the filming of a film about death. But he also gave us a pearl of wisdom in his last appearance through William Bludworth, whose last words in the film are,
"Life is precious, enjoy every single second, you never know when. Good luck."
Whoever is reading this needs to take note of this.
This is a great deal for me because the Fallen remains the best antagonist in the film

I am both an ancient history and modern tech enthusiast, and the Fallen is a representation of both. On one hand, he is an ancient Transformer, and then we are already talking about a franchise full of advanced machines that can talk, so that covers the latter part.
Sure, the Transformers films have some cool antagonists like the traitor Sentinel Prime (voiced by Leonard Nimoy) and the planet-eating Unicron, but they don't come close to that ancient clinging metal who also holds this cool ability of transportation. He can reach the top of a pyramid from a sand dune within the blink of an eye.
