During an exclusive interview with E! News, Gwyneth Paltrow shared how proud her children are of their parents for the way they were brought up. Paltrow shares two children with her ex-husband, Chris Martin, who is also the vocalist and co-founder of the British rock band Coldplay. Their two children are Apple Martin, a 20-year-old actress and singer, and 19-year-old Moses Martin.

Paltrow shared during the interview:

"They are very proud of the iconoclastic approach that we have taken in the past... Looking back, there are always things that we used to write about [at Goop] where people were like, 'Oh my gosh, what is this?' And now they’re so mainstream."

When asked about her collaboration with Genesis to create 'The Forest Within,' which is an immersive exhibition. Gwyneth responded:

"My kids are really proud of the fact that we're always kind of first in this space."

Gwyneth Paltrow talks more about her parenting style

While Paltrow shares two children with her ex-husband, Martin, she is also a stepmother to her current partner's children. Gwyneth Paltrow has been together with American director and producer Brad Falchuk since 2018. The Glee creator also has two children, Isabella (19) and Brody (18).

Gwyneth shared:

"We try to always strike a balance... For me, manners are super important. So, that was kind of the structure: manners and education. I want a lot of expression and individuality and freedom running through that structure. So, that's kind of how we looked at it".

When asked about what paths she expected her children to follow. She said:

"They are definitely artist souls... I do think that [a] mix of structure and art is really coming through in who they are now. They're both academic, and yet they have these beautiful free spirits and I think they will pursue art, which I think is wonderful."

Gwyneth Paltrow also mentioned that she does not like to be too strict with her own children, as well as Falchuk's children. She mentioned finding a "middle ground" between setting boundaries and allowing them a certain level of freedom.

Businesswoman and Goop founder, Gwyneth Paltrow, shared some exclusive insights into the thoughtful and balanced parenting style she and Chris Martin follow with their two children. She calls it an "iconoclastic approach," whereby they break away from the traditional norms and societal standards in today's world. According to the two children, Apple and Moses Martin are in favor of this style of parenting.
