Isabelle Tate's agency has revealed the cause of her death as:
"a rare form of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease"
The disease is an inherited condition that impacts the nerves that carry signals from the brain and spinal cord to the body. The actress passed away on October 19. She was 23 years old.
Kim McCray, the founder of the agency, added that the family welcomes donations in Izzy’s honor to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association.
According to Entertainment Weekly, 9-1-1: Nashville, which starred Isabelle Tate, will include a memorial title card in next week’s episode to pay her tribute.

Remembering Isabelle Tate, McCray Agency wrote on Instagram:
"I’ve known Izzy since she was a teenager and she recently returned to acting. She booked the first series she auditioned for, 9-1-1 Nashville. She had a wonderful time."
Mentioning her family, they added:
"My heart goes out to her wonderful mother @katerinataterealtor, her sister Daniella, family and friends. I was so lucky to know her and she will be greatly missed by so many. 💔🕊️"
As of now, her sister and mother have chosen to keep their grief private and have not shared any posts on social media regarding her passing.
Isabelle's best friend, Shania Irani, wrote on Instagram:
"To know Izzy was to love her- she was full of love & the best energy. I am so lucky to call you my best friend & eternally grateful that the universe brought us together, I love you forever Izzy 🤍🕊️"
Hunter McVey, who starred with Isabelle on 9-1-1: Nashville, said in a statement to People:
"I didn’t know Isabelle prior to filming, but I couldn’t have asked for someone better to work with on one of my first-ever days on set. I was terrified, nervous, and after each take, we would get to exchange a couple words, which were always supportive from her. I got the pleasure of talking with her after the scene, and she had such a great energy. You could tell she brought joy to a lot of people"
Her obituary further mentioned that Isabelle was a spirited and talented young woman who loved music, family, and friends, always bringing energy and joy to those around her.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24, at Forest Hills Methodist Church in Brentwood.
