Savannah Chrisley is all out expressing her feelings to her mother, Julie Chrisley, and father, Todd Chrisley, after their return from prison. Chrisley recently invited her parents on her YouTube channel for a podcast episode.

On July 8, Savannah uploaded a clip on Instagram from the YouTube video discussing the trauma and separation with her parents, where she was seen opening up about her own feelings as well while asking them about their opinions.

Savannah started the discussion by asking her parents:

"Do you think released prisoners should be provided some type of PTSD support?"

Both Todd and Julie immediately agreed, saying, “absolutely.” While talking about the trigger, Savannah opened up about her own feelings and told Julie and Todd:

"I’ve never sat across from two people that I love more than anyone in this world and felt such a disconnect."

When asked by Todd if this feeling of disconnect comes from both Julie and Todd, Savannah replied:

"Yeah, I don’t know where it comes from, and it’s something that I’ve got to figure out, but it’s like, I know I love you more than anything in this world, but it just feels like there’s a wall."

Todd was understanding of her feelings rather than defensive and suggested that the disconnect might be a result of the trauma they’ve all been through.

After suggesting to Savannah Chrisley that the disconnect could be most possibly because of the trauma, Todd continued:

"We've all had trauma, but you've had trauma, and your trauma in some ways could possibly be more significant than anyone else's because you haven't had an out. You haven’t had a stop and reset. "

Supporting her daughter, Todd added:

"You afforded everyone else to have a stop and reset, so now it’s your stop and reset. And Savannah, listen, I’ll tell you something, because I learned this, I went in that prison having controlled everything around me. Your whole life, all of us, I controlled it all. And I had to give that control up."

Todd's reply was loved by the Chrisley fans, who admired him for being wise and supportive of his daughter and helping her through this journey. Savannah Chrisley also reflected on her hopes for the future in the caption, sharing:

"Your relationships can only thrive once you’ve fully taken care of yourself. While our new normal may look different, I’m ready to embrace the change and continue fostering our relationship as a family."

Before Todd and Julie Chrisley were granted a pardon by President Trump in May, Savannah Chrisley had been caring for her two brothers, Grayson and Chase, while also actively advocating for her parents’ release.

Fans are now eager to see what’s next for the family, whether they’ll return to reality TV with a new show or bring back Chrisley Knows Best in some form.
