Actor David Killick passed away on July 4 at the age of 87. The news was announced by his agent from Stanton Davidson Associates, in the statement:

"It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of our much loved friend and client David Killick, who died peacefully on Friday 4th July at St John’s Hospice, North London after a short illness."

It continued:

"David was an actor for over 60 years, loved the business and his fellow actors, and was loved and respected in his turn by all who were lucky enough to work with him. He will be sorely missed."

The cause of his death has been described as a short illness, with no further details shared in the announcement.

Born in Edmonton in 1938, Killick has been famous in the entertainment industry for his acting and talent. Some of his most famous works include A Bridge Too Far, A Touch Of Frost, The Famous Five, Doctor Who: The Lost Stories, The Importance Of Being Earnest on Stage, and Shakespeare and Hathaway: Private Investigators.

David Killick was also loved for his role as Mess President in the series The Crown. Additionally, he also gave his voice to Lord Colney in the Sherlock Holmes podcast series, according to IMDb.
