Maureen Hingert, a Sri Lankan actress and dancer, died on June 29 at the age of 88. The cause of her death has been declared as liver failure. Maureen was also famous by the name Jana Davi and appeared in several films, including Elephant Walk, The King and I, and Fort Bowie.

A statement given to The Hollywood Reporter by Maureen's daughter, Marisa Zamparelli, read:

"It was a beautiful and peaceful passing."

Maureen was not married at the time of her death. Hingert divorced her first husband, Mario Armond Zamparelli, in 1970 after almost twelve years of marriage. Zamparelli was a famous American artist and also worked with Howard Hughes.

She later married William J. Ballard, almost six years after her divorce from Mario. As per IMDb, Ballard reportedly died in 2012.

According to IMDb, Maureen shared three daughters with her first husband, Mario Armond Zamparelli, including Gina, Marisa, and Andrea. Gina Zamparelli was a tour promoter and was born in 1959. She was reportedly the first woman in the U.S. to organize big concerts, selling out shows for over a decade and earning a strong reputation in the industry.

Gina passed away in 2018 at 59 due to a brain tumor, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. Personal and professional details about Hingert’s other two daughters, Marisa and Andrea, have not been widely shared with the public. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Andrea Zamparelli passed away in 2009. She was 42 years old at the time of her passing.
