Kyle Richards Contacts Ex-Husband Mauricio Umansky Following Snake Incident at Her Place

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards contacted her ex-husband, Mauricio Umansky, when a snake caused chaos in her California home. It was him she turned to in order to help her kill the reptile that was terrorizing her household, including herself, her two daughters, Farrah Brittany and Sophia Umansky, and a visiting friend, Jennifer Leipert.

The actress and Internet personality, as well as the other occupants of the house, were in the family’s California residence when they discovered what was later revealed to be a harmless gopher snake.

In a recent TikTok video shared by Sophia Umansky, the screams of Richards’ 25-year-old daughter can be heard around the house; the video then cuts to the unwelcome guest coiling in a corner of the house. Sophia captioned the video:

"This snake had no business entering a house full of girls @Kyle Richards @Farrah Brittany @jennleipart.”

A TikTok user responded to the first video, asking Sophia to “call dad,” to which she posted a follow-up video captioned “We tried that.” The second clip shows Kyle Richards pacing the living room with obvious anxiety as she appears to be on a phone call with Mauricio Umansky.

“I am not killing a f---ing snake!”

She then moves to sit beside a fireplace. Shaking her sweatshirt, she says:

“I’m freaking out,”

She laughs and then tells her estranged husband:

“You’re the only one with a penis around here; get here and make yourself useful!”

The first TikTok video posted by Sophia Umansky regarding the situation begins with the camera operator running from a bedroom to the staircase to get a better look at the snake from a distance. Richards can be heard yelling, “What is it?” from another room.

The shot then cuts to the family friend Leipart on a bed, cowboy boots and all, as she tries to escape the room where the snake is. The camerawoman is confused about how to help, while Leipart suggests that the latter get a golf club.

From her safe position on the bed, Leipart manages to get the snake out of its hiding spot, but the onlookers are unable to catch a full glimpse of it. Leipart and the company are still wondering whether there will be more slithering creatures hiding in the house when animal control arrives and captures the animal.

Sophia Umansky doesn’t mention in subsequent TikTok videos whether her father, Mauricio Umansky, was on his way to save the day.

According to People, Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards were married on January 20, 1996, and became legally separated in 2023. The couple has not yet initiated a divorce process.
