Sam Asghari has shared his thoughts on marrying again. The 31-year-old fitness trainer told TMZ in an interview published on September 18, 2025, that he isn't closed off to the idea of marriage.
“Maybe. Life is just about living and experiencing and enjoying it,” Sam responded when asked if we will hear news about his engagement with his recent partner, Brooke Irvin, in the near future.
Sam was questioned about his relationship with Brooke. He confirmed that everything was going well and described it as amazing.
Asghari and popular pop icon Britney Spears tied the knot in June 2022. However, their romance was short-lived. The couple separated in July 2023 and finalized their divorce in December 2024.
Sam Asghari revealed that he has no plans to write a book, especially about his marriage to Britany Spears. Towards the end of the interview, the reporter asked him about his thoughts on Spears' description of their marriage as a distraction. Sam answered that it was a compliment to be called a distraction.

Sam Asghari and Britney Spears were first associated together after the former appeared in Spears’ 2016 Slumber Party music video. Not long after, the duo sparked dating rumors after sharing a series of photos together. In January 2017, the couple went Instagram official.
On September 12, 2021, Sam and Britney got engaged. Sam Asghari’s manager reported that the couple were touched by the support they received from fans and well-wishers.
“The couple made their long-standing relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication and love expressed to them.”
The couple got married on June 9, 2022 in the presence of several celebrities including Selena Gomez, Paris Hilton, Madonna, and Drew Barrymore. However, their marriage was not long-lasting. After a few months of being together, the couple separated on July 28, 2023.
“Their marriage has been on the rocks for months. There has been constant drama. It's sad. A divorce would be devastating for Britney,” a source told People magazine.
After filing for a divorce, Sam Asghari shared a statement on his Instagram:
“AFTER 6 YEARS OF LOVE AND COMMITMENT TO EACH OTHER, MY WIFE AND I HAVE DECIDED TO END OUR JOURNEY TOGETHER. WE WILL HOLD ONTO THE LOVE AND RESPECT WE HAVE FOR EACH OTHER AND I WISH HER THE BEST ALWAYS.”
He added:
“S--- HAPPENS. ASKING FOR PRIVACY SEEMS [RIDICULOUS] SO I WILL JUST ASK FOR EVERYONE ... TO BE KIND AND THOUGHTFUL.”
Britney and Sam finalized their divorce in May 2024, and in December 2024, the couple was officially declared single.
