There's hope in an upcoming documentary called Living Proof because the people you are going to meet in it are ones living with HIV, a condition that is bound to take their will to live away from anyone. Sheryl Lee Ralph has produced it, and Zeb Newman is directing here.

Ralph has been an actress and a singer with several accolades to her name, including Primetime Emmy Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, and more. For Zeb Newman, who is also an executive producer here, he has produced series like The Late Show with James Corden and directed Stop the Insanity: Finding Susan Powter (2025), Unleashing Hope: The Power of Service Dogs for Autism (2025), and more.

The documentary is a collaboration between Disney's ABC Owned Television Stations, Ralph's The DIVA Foundation, and a biopharma company, Gilead Sciences. We will now look at some more details about the documentary.

When will Living Proof be released?

Living Proof will be released on World AIDS Day, which is on December 1, 2025.

The month will be seeing some highly anticipated films coming to big screens and streaming platforms, too. Avatar: Fire and Ash, the third film in James Cameron's Avatar universe, should be at the top of this list. It will continue the story of Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and family while also adding new characters to the equation.

Marty Supreme is another film that fans are looking forward to watching. It's inspired by a real-life veteran ping pong player, Marty Reisman. Timothée Chalamet will be portraying the titular character here.

Other films coming out in the month include Anaconda, Is This Thing On?, Dust Bunny, and more.

Where will Living Proof stream?

The documentary will stream on Hulu, beginning the day of its release.

While it will be the new documentary coming to Hulu on December 1, 2025, you can also enjoy some classic titles coming your way on the same day. For starters, the entire Home Alone series will be available to watch. Additionally, Jeff Bridges' Academy Award-winning 2009 film, Crazy Heart, will be available to watch too.

That will be it for the first day of the last month, so stay tuned because you may not want to miss the shows and TV shows coming to it. Especially the day after Christmas, as The Life of Chuck (2024), where Tom Hiddleston danced through life, will be available.

What did Ralph say about Living Proof?

The producer and actress stated the upcoming documentary film, as Variety reports, saying that,

"’Living Proof’ is both a love letter and a call to action — a vibrant testament to the healing power of visibility, truth, and community. Freda and Kennedi’s stories remind us that Black women are not just surviving HIV — they are leading the way in reimagining what it means to live with strength, pride, and purpose."

Freda Jones and Kennedi Lowman founded Loving Ourselves Thru Unity and Strength (LOTUS) and will be the main focus of it.

Living Proof has a trailer available on YouTube, and you should stick till the end because there's a really powerful statement there.
