There's a new vibe coming on Netflix with Lost in Starlight, something that those fascinated by all things universe will gladly accept as one of their go-to animated films that's full of energies. Han Ji-won is directing, who is known for his shorts, The Summer and The Sea on the Day When the Magic Returns.
It's coming by the end of this month only and will instantly be available on the streaming platform. Other than the Han Ji-won film, A Widow’s Game and The Heart Knows will be released on the platform the same day. Putting the entire month in perspective, films including Heart Eyes, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Train to Busan, and more will land on the platform too.
Lost in Starlight is already looking beautiful and now we will have to wait to see the story. But by the comment Bong-Joon-ho, who directed Robert Pattinson starrer Mickey 17 recently, made, it's making it one promising film. He said,
"This visual masterpiece takes you around the universe."
That said, we might get lost in those starlights ourselves.
When is Lost in Starlight releasing?

The film, Lost in Starlight, is set to release on May 30, 2025, alongside the couple of films we mentioned up there. Other than Netflix releases, the film will also clash with Jonathan Entwistle's Karate Kid: Legends and filmmaking auteur Wes Anderson's The Phoenician Scheme.
Who is in the cast?
The IMDb listing mentions Hong Kyung and Kim Tae-ri at the moment. Maybe more voice actors will be there, but it could be just the two actors, something similar to what we saw with Steven Yeun and Kristen Stewart starrer Love Me.
As for the film's leads, Hong Kyung has appeared in projects including Innocence, Weak Hero Class 1, A Distant Place, and more, while Kim Tae-ri is known for her roles in The Handmaiden, Mr. Sunshine, Space Sweepers, and more.
What's the story about?

We don't have the entire plot but here's how Netflix presents the film's synopsis.
"Set in 2050, Lost in Starlight tells the story of an astronaut dreaming of Mars and a musician with a broken dream who find each other among the stars, guided by their hopes and love for one another."
It is safe to say that's one love story for the universe.
Do we have a trailer of the film?
We sure do, and that's full of some heartfelt visuals. It's too vibrant—the sun, the city, the fireworks, and, of course, the starry space. The trailer doesn't give away much about the story other than what's already presented, but one can actually see how well it goes with the synopsis Netflix gave the audience.
It begins with the lead characters clashing into each other, which is likely going to be their first interaction with each other in the film. The rest of it shows a slowly building bond between them, which the film will expand upon on May 30.
